Tickets
The ticket price will be £25, which will allow you a place in the full day event. Lunch will be provided in the ticket price, as well as 3 drink tokens that can be used to claim a free soft drink or hot drink throughout the day’s event.

A maximum of 10 spaces will be available on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to attend but there are no more tickets available, we can take your details for the reserves list and if someone drops out before the event, we will contact you to offer you the space. The reserve list will also be on a first come, first served basis.

Players wishing to enter must be 16 or over, anyone younger who wishes to attend may do so, however the parent or guardian must be present when purchasing the ticket.

Event Times
The event is set to take place on Saturday 31st May 2025 and is a single day, 3 game event. We ask that all attending players are in store for 9.45am on the day to be paired up and for lunch orders to be taken. Each game will allow for 3 hours to play 5 rounds.

1st Game – 10.00 – 13.00
Lunch – 13.00 – 13.45
2nd Game – 13.45 – 16.45
3rd Game – 17.00 – 20.00
Awards – 20.05 – 20.20

Game Format
Each game will be played using the Age of Sigmar Generals Handbook 2024-25 match play rules, and army construction should follow these rules, with each player creating a 1500-point list. Tables will be measured to allow a play space of 60x44.

Each round’s battleplan will be provided to the players prior to each game, and 15 minutes of each game will be allocated to setting up the table, preparing terrain in the layouts provided with each battle plan, and deployment.

Awards
Awards will be issued following the 3rd game with awards for First, Second & Third place across the 3 games.

There will also be player votes for the best painted army at lunch time, with a prize for the most voted army at the end of the event. Anyone who wishes to be eligible for this vote should set their army out on their 1st game table and set out the name tag provided.

Players will also be asked to cast their vote for most sportsmanlike player at the end of the 3rd game, and a prize will be presented to the winner of the vote.

Player Requirements and Expectations
Each player will need to bring with them the full army in their submitted list, a tape measure/measuring tools, dice and anything else they may require to play their army (such as tokens or markers). Painting is not required but highly encouraged, with a best painted prize available! Proxy models will be allowed, but they must be on the correct size bases and must reasonably represent the unit they are being used as a proxy for. If you are unsure, please ask before the event.

Each player will also be required to have access to a copy of the full rules for their army which can be viewed upon request by their opponent and the referee. Each player should know the rules of the game, as well as the army they intend to play, well enough to be able to play at a reasonable speed that will allow games to run on time. It is recommended to use the free Tabletop Battles app to keep track of scores during the game.

If it is clear a game will not be completed to the end of round 5 with 20 minutes remaining, you should discuss talking through the result with your opponent. If you are unable to agree on this, please call over the referee to assist. It is in everyone’s best interest to ensure you record scores for all 5 rounds as this may affect the overall placements for the event.

All players should also turn up with a good attitude, ready to play fair and friendly games! If any rules disagreements occur during a game, try to resolve this between yourselves in a calm manner. If an agreement cannot be reached, call over the referee.

NOTE:    Regular AOS players usually meet at Clan Shots Gaming every other Wednesday evening. We welcome new players to join the growing community! If you’d like to try and find a game, feel free to reach out through the discord.

Deadlines & cut-offs
As mentioned, tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis. Refunds will be available until 17/05/2025. If you are unable to attend and you have missed the refund cutoff date, please inform a member of the Clan Shots team as soon as possible and we will try to accommodate.
